If we haven’t met yet, Hi! I’m Lauri. I have a very human approach to web design (and to business in general!). I believe the best websites are the ones who make your clients excited to purchase from you, while safeguarding your sanity by being easy to maintain for you. Inclusive and accessible design is near and dear to my heart, and it makes me want to throw my computer out the window when I see pretty websites that clearly don’t work at all. While I’m a huge fan of beautiful design (Hello I’m a designer), what we’re missing is the balance between something beautiful and clever and something that works and is unique to your business. Lore Street is my baby (don’t tell my cat) and my way of making the world better one website at a time!

My background
I started learning Photoshop when I was 12 years old at an arts summer camp, which would turn out to have a major influence of my life trajectory. I started my design career by designing ads in a newspaper, I then moved to designing packaging for a multi-million earning business where I built and trained a team of high-end retouchers. From there I moved on to a senior role as a Digital Designer working on all things websites which led me to specialise in digital accessibility. I started my company in 2022 to help smaller businesses with a purpose to thrive online.
Who’s “We”?
I aim to provide the best experience possible for my clients, and I realistically can’t be the best at everything! One of our core values is collaboration, and so I work with incredible collaborators to provide clients with extra services like copywriting, social media management or SEO optimisation should they need help.
Lore Street also includes the team that helps me run this business like my business coach and social media manager!

- I'm originally from Montreal, but I spent all my 20s living in Ireland.
- If I'm not at my desk, I'm probably doing yoga or watching TV shows.
- I adore making cocktails. If there's a party, I'm making drinks!
- I have a cat called Clay who might as well be my assistant.
